Charity Cutting Board – This beautiful end grain walnut with end grain maple border cutting board is called the Charity board in honor of my dear friend, Dr. Jonathon Powell. He is a pediatric oncologist who has devoted his life to healing kids with cancer. He recently ran a half-marathon to support this cause. I donated 2 of these boards to help him reach his goal. I’m so proud of my friend Jonathon! I can’t imagine anything harder than having a child with cancer, so it’s a real honor for me to support my friend in his life’s mission. I LOVE this end grain walnut with maple border cutting board. It was a technical challenge to make but I believe it paid off. Interior work surface of Appalachian black walnut with an outer band of hard maple. Relatively large, almost square board. Still should be fairly portable, but I’d recommend adding feet to it. Add a juice groove if you will be doing carving. Dimensions (approx): 16 ” X 17 1/2 ” X 1 5/8 ”
