Karen’s Cutting Board #E33

This End Grain Cherry with Small Maple Stripes was custom made for a client who created this chess board pattern – we call it The Karen lovingly after his wife, for whom the board was made. This is a complex board to build, and requires multiple days and myriad glue-ups. The small Maple stripes offset the Cherry blocks nicely so that the pattern really sings. The cherry wood should only deepen over time, allowing for even more contrast down the road. End Grain Cherry is the gentlest wood for a knife’s edge, so chefs desiring a uniquely patterned board should really enjoy this board. We can add a juice groove and/or rubber feet if you’d like. Dimensions are 18 x 14 x 1 3/4.
