Texas Inlay cutting board featuring a walnut border and Texas Inlay with the body of the cutting board comprised of American Black Cherry. The hardwood hails from Northwestern Pennsylvania, and the cherry has striking figure and iridescence. Over the years, the cherry will slowly darken to a beautiful, rich amber color. As with most inlay cutting boards, it features a ‘display side’ and a ‘work side.’ Owners typically lean their boards against their backsplash in the kitchen for display purposes, and then utilize the work side with the juice groove for cutting. This cutting board was custom-ordered by Judi, and I fell a little in love with it. It’s a surprising and beautiful combination of woods for me. Dimensions 14 X 18 X 1 3/4 inches.
