This credenza features longleaf pine from Alabama, a softwood that is surprisingly hard and heavy. That cabinet holds a large laser printer and also serves as a lateral file cabinet. The entire outer carcass is joined with box joints, which was a fun challenge. I made the drawer pulls from solid mahogany. Note how the wood grain matches and flows across the entire front face of the credenza.
